The 2020 global energy Internet (Asia) conference was held recently. China will continue one belt, one road and the other is the world's energy community.
"The Asia Pacific region now accounts for half of global energy consumption. Although energy consumption has declined this year because of the epidemic, in Asia, especially in the Asia Pacific region, it may recover in the medium and long term. At the same time, we should note that Asia has made great progress in promoting clean energy policy investment. According to the renewable energy 2020 progress report, there are five countries with very leading investment in renewable energy, including China, Japan, India and Vietnam all from Asia. At present, Asia is a very competitive energy market. "
The conference was jointly organized by the global energy Internet Development Cooperation Organization (hereinafter referred to as the "Cooperation Organization") initiated by China, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, focusing on energy and power development in Asia and the energy Internet in Asia. The conference pointed out that Asia is one of the most dynamic and potential regions in the world, and the Asian energy Internet is an important component of the global energy Internet and the only way to promote the energy transformation in Asia.
The cooperation organization proposes to speed up the development of clean energy bases with good resource conditions and economic benefits in Western Asia, Central Asia, Mongolia, Russia, and northern Western China, so as to deliver power to energy consumption centers in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Eastern China, South Korea and Japan, so as to form an energy development pattern of "power transmission from west to East, power from north to south, multi energy complementary and regional interconnection". On this basis, power interconnection channels between Asia and Europe, Africa and Oceania will be built to realize cross continent energy mutual benefit.
