The European side introduced the background and implementation considerations of its medium and long-term goals for addressing climate change, emphasizing that setting medium and long-term goals is of great significance to guiding the green and low-carbon transformation of economic society, and should formulate short-term supporting measures to lay a solid foundation for the realization of the medium and long-term goals. He hoped to learn from each other, strengthen cooperation in addressing climate change, give full play to the leadership of climate change, and promote bilateral cooperation and multilateral process.
